Bring Your Marcos to British Car Day

Bring Your Marcos to British Car Day

Marcos Enthusiasts . . .

British Car Day is Sunday, September 19, at Bronte Park in Oakville. The
past few years, there have been more than 1,000 classic British cars on
display.

In the past, Marcos has been placed in the "Other" category, along with
Allards, Aston Martins, and other exotic cars. However, we now have a class
of our own! Well, we do have to share it with other fibreglass cars - TVR,
Gilbern, etc. - but it makes for a fairer competition.

It would be marvellous to have a large Marcos turnout this year. All
Ontario owners will find Oakville an easy Sunday morning drive. But it's
also within reach of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. If you'd
like directions and details, send me an e-mail.

If you're planning to attend, let me know. Paul Dransfield and I will try
to reserve sufficient space to get all our cars lined up together. And
don't worry about the weather - after the crummy summer we've had, it's
bound to be a glorious weekend!

Ron,
I feel your pain here in Co. we have the British car conclave (about
550 cars last year) I am the only Marcos and I have to show against the same
type of cars. Unfortunatly there are only 3 and a half ( one midas ) known
Marcos in Colo.

Hal and Andy,

Well don't forget about me in New Mexico. I have the only Marcos in New Mexico and its about 500 miles from either of you. Maybe some day we can get the 5 1/2 Marcos cars here in the southwest together.

does, we Scots refer to it as "liquid sunshine").
