According to the latest issue of Octane Magazine the Marcos factory 
is going to sell Mini Marcos kits. The kits will be the same as the 
originals and can be bought in stages.

That's not quite correct. The kits will be made and sold by Marcos
Heritage Spares (Rory McMath) and not the Marcos factory.

Hello Marcos Group:

The latest register shows only 2 mini marcos cars 
in North America.

Is that correct?

I had once heard there were 11 cars in NA.
My title calls it a 1961 but it can't be....


Who owns #7073?

Please look on the Mini Marcos web site. I can find ten on a quick 
search. If you know of any updates or can provide photos of any not 
yet included (even if no longer extant) please let me know.

8334 was first registered in the UK in 1980.

Richard, my car is pictured in the gallery.  It is listed as 020YCB (Can).  I just wanted you to know that it is chassis  MM 9007.

How's life?

Did you and the family get thru the civil unrest OK? 

Any fun projects going on?

I acquired a Yamaha R1 powered Lotus 7 project kit car.

I have it running and have decided it will cure my "need for speed".
The car is just brutal.  I drove it for 65 miles and could barely walk for three days....
It also inspired me to put my marcos back to front engine front wheel drive.
I hope to start the project in a few months.
There is a big classic mini show in June 2012 in Prescott Arizona
This might give me incentive to get her done.....

Have you ever seen the Radical White Mini Marcos Race car for sale.
I wish I had the money to buy it and bring it to the new world......

Carrying on as usual. I didn't see anything of the riots though I'm 
very familiar with the Croydon landmark (Reeves' Corner) that was 
burnt down. I was brought up around those parts.

One not making much progress at the moment. The Jem needs a diff swap 
and the Marcos is making worrying noises so I'll have to have a look 
at that soon.

We could have shows at Prescott Arizona and Prescott Gloucestershire 
at almost the same time!

You mean the TransXL Mk.IV? Yes it was at Prescott for the Marcos 50 
celebrations in 2009, with Steve Roberts driving it up the hill. I put
