Marcos back on Ebay

The yellow "show car" is back on Ebay Motors.  "Buy it now" price is 
$27500.  From looking at the pix, the headlight covers on the car and 
the pic of the magazine cover car differ.  The covers on the car on 
Ebay are the earlier type.  Of course they could have been changed but 
the opening size is different.

Hey Phil, what rear marker light were you talking about?  Is it on the 
Ebay car?

greetings from Glasgow[Scotland] I have a 1968 wooden chassis 1600cc marcos which I have owned for 30years.The car has been brilliant and caused me few problems since I bought it.I also have had it painted 2 years ago.The car won best in class at this years club marcos international rally.I'm getting carried away. I really came on line to tell you that the new style headlamp covers are a direct replacement for the old style.I have done this modification to my car.

Just looked at the Marcos on E-bay. It does not have the side markers. You can clearly see in the magazine that the car has 4 corner markers on it. The 2 on the front are at the end of the front bumpers. The 2 on the rear are above the bumper. Don't know whether they were reflectors, or light markers though? The E-bay car is identical to mine. However my paint color is a lot closer match to the photo car. Mines been repainted but the under color is the same. I don't know where Chris bought the car from I now own, but it might be interesting to trace it back. I'll have to contact him. Ta Ta for now. Phil
