FW: Bring Your Marcos to British Car Day
2006-09-05 by McLeod, Ronald
Marcos Enthusiasts . . . British Car Day is Sunday, September 17, at Bronte Park in Oakville. The past few years, there have been more than 1,000 classic British cars on display. In the past, Marcos has been placed in the "Other" category, along with Allards, Aston Martins, and other exotic cars. However, we now have a class of our own! Well, we do have to share it with other fibreglass cars - TVR, Gilbern, etc. - but it makes for a fairer competition. It would be marvellous to have a large Marcos turnout this year. All Ontario owners will find Oakville an easy Sunday morning drive. But it's also within reach of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. If you'd like directions and details, send me an e-mail. If you're planning to attend, let me know. Paul Dransfield and I will try to reserve sufficient space to get all our cars lined up together. And don't worry about the weather - it never rains on British Car Day! (If it does, we Scots refer to it as "liquid sunshine"). Regards . . .
