Near completion

To all,
I am on a Short Final with my Marcos project. I have been working on it for over 4 years. I have the frame and running gear all complete, the wiring has all been re-done, and the body is painted and ready for placing back on the frame assembly. I have replaced every screw, nut and bolt, brake lines, and everything that had wear or deterioration.
The engine less than 20,000 miles, but was disassembled, new hardened valve seats installed and new gaskets, seals and water pump installed. Also, changed from point to electronic ignition. I replaced the automatic with an m410 over drive. Thanks to Donny Lang, I now have the Volvo shift lever with the O.D. switch on knob.
The body took 2 years of tedious repair of all the stress cracks and defects.
I converted the A/C to R134a with a Sanyo 7 compressor and larger condenser.
I completely re-made the dash assy. and made a stainless steel firewall to help with radio interference.
I decided to redo carpet and sun roof while the body is on the "roll around" and up where I can reach everything with little or no bending over.
I say "I" a lot, because I did all the work except the valve seat replacement.
I hope to have it driving by the 1st of April.
Regards to all,
Larry

Larry,

Sounds like a labor of love (and busted knucles) to me. You can
sure be proud of it when you're driving down the road.
Congratulations and let us see some pix when you're done. You
definately have more patience than I!

I'd like to see that A/C setup.
