Mounting rear plate

Mounting rear plate

2018-09-01 by davesell@...

My 1991 Mantula needs to have a license plate mounted on the rear. How do I seal water from getting through the holes into the boot?

Cut a gasket from 1/8" sticky back rubber seal material from any auto supply store, Place it (sticky side ) to the mounting bracket. When bolts (1/4-28 x 3/4" long) are tightened to secure bracket, the robber will seal the mounting holes.
