Marcos ground clearance again

Doing final positioning of V6 Ford Cologne 2.8 engine in chassis. Converted to rear sump oil pan, for the better. Doing measurement off of lower chassis rail. If car is set up for, 7 inches of clearance, side bottom chassis rail to ground. Should have around 4 inches of ground clearance, oil pan to ground. Is this typical oil pan to ground clearance? Thanks in advance.
