Marcos Maniacs

Hello everybody.

I´m new to thew list and own the first 2.5litre coupe chassi number 2-
T4883. The car is currently undergoing chassi repairs. ( so far i´m 
taking off the body) I had no problems with the aformentioned bolts 
went out easy yesterday. Probably I´ll have problems with front 
chassi mounting points instead. Will try and post pics. However the 
extent of rust seems to be at least all lower tubes that are´nt near 
the british rust proofing system i.e engine gearbox or diff.

I'm looking forward to some photos.  Let me know if we need to compare
notes, 2T5916 (my car) was either next to last or third from the last.

Thanks for all your kind replies. I was with a MArcosfriend in 
gothenburg yesterday and dug up a few pics on my car in the 70´s. It 
got a medal for best engine and second overall at a marcos 
international rally 78 or 79. Its sorry state today will improve! 
Though it will neber be a show car. Will post pics of the chassi (oh 
horror of horrors)as soon as possible FEB? Decided to keep old engine 
but change the head and webbers

Hi Stephen your car looks fantastic Hope the frame is in same state 
as rest of the car. Re triumph engined ones there were 2 or 3 coupes 
for sale in england october -november. together with yours and mine 
and the one in holland thats a fair amount surviving ones. Ferrari 
gto was buílt in 25 examples Massproduction by 2,5T standards!
