I'm really liking my Morley CSV (compact stereo volume) because it's passive 
(no damned battery) and clean and has a nice smooth linear response curve 
instead of the "directly from quiet to loud" that all of the other pedals 
I've used exhibit.  Of course, it also works as a mono pedal.
