Everything I read is spot on true. One thing though: The boy used that Lowrey home organ in a really original and rare way on that song I confuse with the other one. His use of the EMS Synthi / vcs3 is impressive to many of us synthi wonks. His Arp work emulating orchesteral beds (not the leads and ordinary stuff) is again impressive. I don't know if it was Townsend or company help or Glyn, who will try anything his non tron contributions are far above average. Some ems and arp types say brillliant. Keeping in mind everybody gad one hit song in their minds and every idiot has at least one profound thing to say (or offer). The Bee Gees (Robert Stigwood Band) Mellotron work was not real impressive to me I'd say being eclipsed by Beggars Opera of a factor of 1000% gw On 9/22/07, jonesalley <jonesalley@cox.net> wrote: > > > > > > > > That pretty much describes better than 90% of the musicians I've met. > > > > > > Yes, but he was (is) a mildly disturbed knucklehead and a bit of > hypocritical idiot…..just catch some of the interviews in "The Kids are > Alright" film. > > > >
