I'm not going to venture an opinion on the list as to whether Mike should be
a member or not. I only wish to remind everyone that this is a private
group that is owned and moderated solely by Don under Yahoo's terms, and while
things are obviously free-ranging it is still Don's Yahoo! Group and not a
democracy. Like it or not, those are the terms we all implicitly agreed to when
we signed on. So, it's not really any of my business what Don's decision is
and I hope that, no matter what that decision might ultimately be, we will
all defer to his right to make that decision and carry on with the good humor
and the graciousness befitting a group that is capable of the intellect and
creativity that this one is.

Jon, without a doubt, that is (some of) the lamest bullshit I have ever read
on this list.

Jon, Don might have started this list, but it now transcends him. It isn't
his. It is all of ours and we trust him to moderate it. But to do so, he must
remain neutral and follow a fair set of rules. He doesn't get to throw people
out that piss him off. That's not fair. We should all have a say.

Do you feel that it is Don's right to throw Mike away because his feelings
are hurt? I don't.

Moderate, don't censor. Don you can hate Mike. I don't give a rat's ass. I
come to this forum and I want to hear what he has to say. Put him back.
