Mellotronists

It seems like last January when a few of us thought Jamie Robertson 
paid too much for buying a M-400 on eBay for nearly 
$3,000...methinks in retrospect that he got the eBay Mellotron deal 
of the year--

Note the seating of the keys on the current eBay 'Tron on the right 
end. When I got mine, I popped off the top to note the numeral order 
of my keys stamped on the unpainted wooden stems...they were all out 
of order. No pattern whatsoever--but they all seated perfectly and 
are evenly spaced.
