Greetings All,

Eloquently written, Frank. Ever since I met/befriended
Bill Eberline of DMI/Sound Sales in the early 70's, I often
wished the rift would be closed between "us vs. them."

In 1998 when JB/family were our guests here in New England,
I arranged a lengthy telephone call between JB and
Bill Eberline. According to Bill, he feels that he still
legally owns the rights to the Mellotron name.
But any litigation to determine Bill's or Dave Kean's actual
ownership would be so costly that only the legal firm of
"Dewey,Cheatham,& Howe" would win.

As we all head into this new century, maybe in the near
future, the saga of the "21st Century Schizoid Tron"
will be a moot point. Then all Mellotron lovers, fans, owners,
and builders/restorers can pass the peace-pipe together.......

Whaddaya say, gang?? Thinking out-loud again, JK
