Mellotronists

My band once played Tarkus at a school dance to an audiance comprised largely 
 of reggae fans.  During the section that started ... "Clear the Battlefield 
and let me see..."   we were pelted with Coke cans (a coincidence, I promise) 
and a teacher asked us to leave the stage.  The following day at school I was 
told by a pupil that I didn't know that they'd heard one of our tunes on the 
radio that morning... it was our opener Hocus Pocus by Focus.  That comment 
made me feel a little better.  I also found our vintage CopyCat echo unit on the 
staff-room window ledge.. a double helping of good feeling.
