Mellotronists

hi all ,

i'm not use to post on the list but I like to read ! sometimes it's 
really funny ! 8^)
So now i post because I just come back from blithbury where my m400 
#1498 was serviced and upgraded by two extremely friendly guys : 
martin and john . Big trip for me , i bring the mellotron from paris 
to blithbury ( the closer big city is birmingham ).Then I met the two 
mellotron experts . while I visit england they work hard on the 
mellotron and in 3 days it was like a brand new machine ! incredible !
before the servicing it was horrible but I think like most mellotron 
in the world . now ,it's incredible how  playable it is . it's 
fantastic . the mellotron do not worth his bad reputation anymore .
so I would like to thank martin smith and john bradley for their 
fantastic job and the fun . Really exciting to see how fast they take 
to pieces the mellotron !
and I would like to tell to any real musician that 30 years old 
machine need a full service to be full playable . i have wait three 
years before decided to go for the servicing . And it was three 
tiedous years with 3 notes chord only . now I can really sit on the 
keyboard without any detuning ! unbelievable !
so i'm extremly happy
