I am new in the list. I have acquired a new Mellotron Mark VI recently... it will arrive in a few days (I can hardly wait). I wish to know if someone has some experience with these new mellotrons and can tell me his/her experiences and some tips.
My name is Nacho. I am from Spain, 24 year old. I am a fan of good old prog and symphonic rock, mainly genesis, the moodies, KC and the italian scene. I play almost any instrument i can find (guitars, flutes, keyboards, basses, etc). I know little about the usage and happenings of the mellotrons (I only know their magnificent sound ), but I hope you can help me with this subject. Thanks.
