-In other words...let's say record violins each note up the keyboard for their full length on track one(use a click or count to cue the note starts)...reload new sound...say,cello...record each note of the keyboard full length on track two(synched to begin with previous track click/count) and so on then play back all the tracks balanced and panned or eq'd/efx'd into your sampler as a single new bank(assigning each note to it's proper place in your sampler) no loops unless you want them. Fat end-of-the-universe tron layers unlimited....you could do this with brasses,choirs,organ,whatever...mix Chamberlin and Mellotron sounds together on single notes. -- In Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com, "charel196" <charel196@y...> wrote: > record each note of each sound you want to layer on separate audio > tracks of a 4/8 track recorder or computer software(all notes must > start together) then resample the layers into your sampler as a new > single sound.
