Hi Clay,   Many Thanks for the advice.     As mentioned to
Frank Stickle last evening, my only computer is a 7+ yr.old laptop.
Not much opportunity for custom add-ons.

I'm using Media Player 9.0 to listen to the   *.MID files.
The std. DELL sound card plays CD's, and  all .MP2-3 files perfectly!

But  I can't do much more than that listen to .MID  for the moment.

One of these days I'll get "modern" with a faster/updated system.
