Hello all, A quick question for those on this list who know the Moodies' song "Sun Is Still Shining" from their "To Our Children's Children's Children" album... I've just been listening to the aforementioned track again this evening, and I'm still trying to work something out which has been puzzling me for ages - Does anyone know what that 'tron (or Chamberlin?) sound is that plays the main riff at the start and between verses - it sounds a little bit like the cello tape (but more 'raspy'), but as the album is from 1969 and, as far as I know, the cellos didn't appear until a year later with the release of the M400, that knocks that idea on the head. I suppose it could also be a case of Mike Pinder playing one of the other sounds at half speed (violins maybe), but I'd be interested to see if anyone else knows what that sound is.
