Greetings All, This weekend will mark three years of the great loss of life in NYC, Washington DC and a farm field in Shanksville,PA. Attached photos were taken by me when visiting Larry Fast in August,to return his completed M400 . The bell tower is on the grounds of St. Joseph Shrine in Gillette Twp, minutes away from Rte. I-78. It's open for viewing by/for all people. It is constructed of actual WTC steel, and stands approx. 40-ft tall. On each side are memorial plaques of all the WTC victims, from all lands, creeds, and backgrounds. As you touch those beams, reverently reflect upon the human cost to retrieve that metal. That part of NJ was most affected , as the area is a bedroom community for bankers, brokers, and Wall St. investors. Larry told me that hundreds of expensive vehicles sat unclaimed for weeks at the local rail stations after 9-11. To this day, you will see countless yellow ribbons in most boroughs/villages there. If any of you live around an hour or so of that location , please make a quick detour and pay your respects to those innocent people who paid the ultimate price for terrorist extremism in the USA that sad day in 2001. The bell tower/shrine is on Long Hill Road atop the Watchung Mtn. range . Sincerely, Jerry Korb & extended family
