A touch off topic  – I bought my tickets this morning  for the Acoustic 
Strawbs show at McCabe’s in  Santa  Monica on Oct 29…….very excited! One of  my “I
’ll never get to see them in my lifetime” bands is going to be here!! I’m  
just that age where I got interested in the Moodies,  Strawbs, BJH, Starcastle, 
 Gurvitz, etc. when the band had slowed down, lost  key members, couldn’t 
afford to come to the US or fully changed  direction….NOW, that is going to 
change, for crying out loud, and I had to  tell somebody about it – take advantage 
of this kind of a thing – it doesn’t  always happen in such wonderful  ways!

They're also going to be here in San Diego on 11/06 -- got my  tickets today. 
 Last time I saw them was in 1975, with Hawken and Coombes,  opening for 
Kraftwerk!
