Greetings Mellotrongirl and Mellotron Gang,
Absolutely correct ! I bought that LP when released in early 70s
and did some back-flips upon hearing the Tron on the two tracks.
Am looking at my copy as I'm writing and I have this info to share :
1) Produced in England in early 1970s ......mystery solved !
2) Assoc. producer Gus Dudgeon .....who just happened to be
producer for "Spring" and their MK-II's ......
So it's entirely possible that Steve Miller's LP was recorded using
Spring's MK-II in England .
Another tidbid for you all.......
Gus Dudgeon and Spring also provided their MK-II to artist Al Kooper
on his seldom-heard/known LP "New York City, You're A Woman."
Have a listen to that one if you can find it. Enjoy !

P.S: Congrats to the Boston Red Sox winning the World Series.
After 86 years, the curse of the Bambino (Babe Ruth) has been broken !
4 games blanking the NY Yankees in playoffs, then ditto with St.Louis
in the Series.......not too shabby. ......JK (enjoys sports besides
Trons).Message
