These articles say that JPJ > played the bass recorder parts...not Richard Harvey. Mark, You ought to know by now that the press NEVER gets anything wrong. We all know it's genetically impossible for them to even stretch the truth and, heaven forbid, lie, and I'm sure they have to pass a test or something to make sure that they know absolutely everything about everything... All that being said, I KNOW it's not bass recorder, and having just listened to it, JPJ could be playing the top part in the second register of an alto (the 'huskier' tone as opposed to a soprano in the first register leads me to think this), soooo my revised opinion is a) it's definitely recorders and b) it could be two altos and a tenor. I have a friend who's a recorder heavy here in Tronto and I'll see if he can give me the definitive answer. Now, does anyone know what tron sounds Tony Banks used for the intro to "Watcher of the Skies"? Rick (who's ducking quickly to avoid the things being hurled at him)
