Welcome! Please allow me to introduce you to FritZ Doddy. FritZ, meet
Paolo. Paolo, our Mr. Doddy (among several others on the list) know A
LOT about recording mellotrons (and recording in general). I'm sure
they can all tell you a lot. The only reason I mention FriTz over the
others is that he has a CD assembled that has various examples of
different recording techniques.

  You went to ken's site and looked at the basic document. I'm not sure 
what you mean by "how to record" a tron. At it's simplest, Record your 
tron with no effects or with effects printed to another track. Unless 
you plan to automate volumes, record your tron with a volume pedal for 
any dynamics. If you mean by "how" the medium by which you record onto, 
that's dictated by your preference for tape or digital or it is already 
dictated by the project you're working on. Please explain your 
question. Thanks
