Greetings Gang, I was in early grade school when that song was aired.
Over AM radio Top-40, pre-Mellotron days. Didn't Del Shannon use
the Musitron on another top-40 hit ??  my memory fails me at the
moment.....

Come to thinkin' ......The Musitron sounds heckuva lot like an
instrumental from same era . Played by Dave "Baby" Cortez, the tune was
titled "The Happy Organ. "  (....keyboard that is.....)
