Mellotronists

I saw it last year next to the Crown Jewels!!!!  I believe it was loaded
with Bagpipe sounds..

Hi Jon and gang,    I sent the royal family a sympathy card and letter in
1997, 
after the untimely death of  Princess Diana (England's Rose) in Paris. 
I also just happened to make mention of Princess Margaret's Mellotron. 

To my surprise, I got an answer from her secretary (on royal lithographed 
stationery,of course ) !  She (PM) acknowledged that fact that she owned the

Tron once, but didn't specify anything further. I think JB mentioned once
that 
an attempt was made to reposses the Tron but failed.  So I wonder if that 
classic keyboard is sadly in storage somewhere far beneath the walls of 
Buckingham Palace.
