Thanks to hints from a certain M. S., my old faithful Mellotron is back in
service. I have been successfully able to repair the PML 1 preamp/line amp and
she once again sings. In honor of this event I have decided to tear her
apart and give her her first major overhaul in three years. Now that I have
completed #600 which I had named the "Lazarus" project, I have a short break
before I begin the next one. So I think a nice going over is in order for 1562.
Sometimes, it seems, we neglect the one we love. At least she works properly
and needs no parts... just a good D&C.

That would be, "dusting and cleaning."
