Hi, all. I responded to Andy's request privately, but have a question for the group at large.? My SACD of EGBDF lists 3 bonus tracks in the booklet, "The Story In Your Eyes", "The Dreamer", and "After You Came"; HOWEVER, the cover only lists the first two and the CD itself only has the first two.? I seem to remember hearing somewhere (perhaps on the list) that the initial pressings of this CD were recalled because of this omission then reissued with all 3 bonus tracks.? Anyone have an answer? Hi, everyone- I read in one of the online Moody fanzines that the distributor recalled as many copies of EGBDF as possible. They had new covers/sleeves printed, omitting mention of the bonus track, "After You Came". Seems they never decided to remake the SACDs with the missing third track. Makes financial sense (SACD production is not cheap, a re-do is worse for a limited production run), but it sure leaves us dissatisfied. I didn't think they left the booklet unchanged, but it would've saved money, too. If they did change the booklet, yours got thru accidentally. I kept my original with both misprints. I liked hearing the surround mix, but the fidelity is not great. MFSL should've been involved, as they are experts at tape reproduction fidelity. Too bad that there wasn't a surround version of "In Search of the Lost Chord" found, either. Replying a little late, I'm afraid! The alternative mix of "The Story In Your Eyes" features a different vocal track, but also a slightly more raw-sounding (or maybe loud-sounding) Tron part (later faded and blended in places for the final mix). "Dreamer" sounds like it really ought to have Tron on it... From memory the EGBDF album was the one where they started to use their own 3 Violins sound (or so I read somewhere), resulting in a slightly rounder sound than the original Tron voice, and giving a better balance between high and low notes. Of course, by the time they did Seventh Sojourn, Mike Pinder had got his hands on a Chamberlin.
