what's the current acceptable going rate on these?
i don't have one - i just use old blankets for the rare
occasion i need to move mine. which, as it happens, is
coming up next weekend [17th]. our previous beloved
member duncan from RMI is bringing his group back to
philadelphia for another show, and i'm loaning out my
m400 again for the show [along with a pair of synthis
and possible some other gear].

if anyone is in town you really should come to the show.
it takes place in a church on the u of penn cmapus, and
last time they utilized the facility's organ along with
two mellotrons and it was quite amazing...

RE: [Mellotronists] protect-o-muff for sale... / VEMIA

I just bought it!

How much WONDERFUL stuff was up on VEMIA? I wish I'd had cash to play with..
2 more M400s and some great modular gear up for grabs, too. Ho-hum..

I don't know if the price is over the odds or not, but dear 151 certainly deserves it.
Even though a headblock azimuth job and some fresh tapes would seem more pressing.
Or fuel, food and trousers with the arse still intact.

One for those occasions when hatchback + flightcased fridge = flightcase left in garden + more dings and sudden shower of herrings.

I don't even know if the muffs are any use or not. Soon will.

 Love and Scones,

wallis

Mark,

Congrats...

They work well, we used to to gig an M400 with one. They are a smaller
version of the things that removal companies use to shift pianos.

The price is academic as you see them so rarely. However the M400s went for
quite sensible prices in the end as both will need work to get them going
again.

Hi Mark,
I agree with Norm,
I have moved house 3 times now and each time I wouldn't like to have
shifted the M300 without its muff! The removal men were especially
grateful as the second move I asked them to put it upstairs.
