Bardens

Is it just me, or did I miss others' postings regarding the loss of Pete Bardens to lung cancer this past Tuesday........???????
I for one am saddened at the loss, and will miss his music very much; what he's left us will live forever in my own personal collection, and will never stop playing regularly and with frequency in my heart.

I hadn't heard this news, although I knew he was gravely ill. Very sad
indeed. I feel fortunate enough to have seen Pete perform about ten
years ago. Not only was it an inspiring performance but he was gracious
enough to meet many of his fans between sets.

RIP Pete.

A sad loss which I wasn't aware of.

Although mainly credited for his Hammond skills, I find the Mellotron solo
on "Never Let Go" (first Camel album) to be one of my favourites (& unusual
to hear the instrument being played so quickly, as well!).
