I hadn't heard this news, although I knew he was gravely ill. Very sad indeed. I feel fortunate enough to have seen Pete perform about ten years ago. A sad loss which I wasn't aware of. Although mainly credited for his Hammond skills, I find the Mellotron solo on "Never Let Go" (first Camel album) to be one of my favourites (& unusual to hear the instrument being played so quickly, as well!).
