Mellotronists

I can't recall if this has come up before, but I just finished viewing The 
Beatles Anthology on DVD (just arrived yesterday), and on special features 
DVD #5 is the video of "Real Love".  In that video, about a minute or so into 
it, is a shot of Paul sitting at a keyboard and putting his hands behind his 
head.  Clearly in the background to his right is the left half of a Mellotron 
SFX m/c, I assume the very same one used on the White Album sessions.  
(Martin said Streetly sold it to Paul after reacquiring it from Mike 
Oldfield, who had purchased it for 1000 pounds at the Abbey Road 'Sale of the 
Century' some years ago.)

Here is a great clip of classic Grand Funk Railroad... and guess what  
is just upstage of the B3? What song(s) did they use a tron on?

My guess (and it is just a guess) would be "Closer To Home."  They might 
have used it on a couple of others, but "Closer To Home" is the obvious 
candidate.
