Hmmm--didn't sound like a Mellotron, eh?

That's how you get an Optigan CHEAP from a thrift store! Makes me
wonder how many Optigans donated to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.
are thrown away because no one knows to tip down the front to put the
discs in to "make a sound"...

Seems I would have put the muff in a separate auction. I'd love to
have just the muff! Anyone know how many muffs were made...and if
there were protective muffs for the other models?

Dave Kean loaned me his muff to get my unit home in the back of my
station wagon...knowing I'd come back in a few weeks to get a spare
loaded rack (which was wrapped in lots of towels for transport that
time)

I don't know if Muffs were made for MkIIs (how were they carried
about by Streetly/Mellotronics?), I've never seen one. I have a Muff
for my M300 though but it's the only one I've seen.

Brian Kehew has a muff cover (more like a padded piano cover) for his white MkII in a hideous green colour.

What are the current values for a 400?
