Trion tells the tale of Jemetrion.............

..........the story of a tortoise that is following its dreams.

Fifty minutes of seventies' styled progressive music divided
between eleven
tracks brought to you by Eddie Mulder (Flamborough Head), Menno
Boomsma
(Odyssice) and Edo Spanninga (Flamborough Head).

Trion (a contraction of the words trio and tron; short for
mellotron) is an
instrumental project which uses only seven sounds of the mellotron
(cello,
violins, choir, vibe, oboe, organ & flute), drums and acoustic &
electric
guitars.

All artwork by Jasper Joppe Geers.

This was down at the bottom of the page (my capitals):

Edo Spanninga: Flute, Oboe, Strings, Organ, Cello, Vibe & Choir
Mellotron SAMPLES

So if he's using samples, why stop at seven sounds?

Nearly - they use Mellotron samples.
