Mellotronists

there's a mellotron on Ebay. It's located in Kansas

I saw a listing on EBay concerning a recorded CD of mellotron sounds for sale. Apparently it is coming from a digital studio and is stated to be compatable with AKAI samplers. Is this in conflict the copyrights?
