MkII/M300 recordings

MkII/M300 recordings

2003-12-12 by J.K.Beresford

Hi all,
The only time I've ever heard a MkII being played as originally
intended is a little bit of the original demo disc. Does anyone out
there have any recordings that can be put up on mp3 or know where
there are some already. I'd be really interested to hear a MkII/M300
in full flight with the rhythms and fills. JB/MS - do you have
anything? There has to be loads of examples somewhere.

Season's Greetings JKB and all,

Interesting you should mention that. I've heard
a few longer demonstrations of orig. MK-II and M300
models . Perhaps JB has more info on this, and can
assist to put these online in .MP3 form.

Speaking of which, I was noodling about with my
Mark-One "Julia" recently, and actually recorded over
35 minutes' worth of almost all R/F and lead sounds.
CD was made from this crude demo, some errors and
level distortion can be heard. As often-mentioned,
I'm NOT a musician , so don't expect a performance
a la Pierre Veilleux or Rick Blecha or similar.

I was contemplating to have a bunch of these R/F sound
snippets placed online in .MP3 form for the curious/interested.
Whaddaya think KL/KM, is this do-able ??

Cheers, Jerry Korb (untaping my 10 thumbs......)

Prof. Korb, et.al.,

I intend to take some snippets from the "Julia's Noodlings" CD and the
"MONEYPIT North 'The playing may be bad but Julia makes it sound good'
Gathering" CDs and get them out onto the web site.

May be a while---it looks like the likelihood of my enjoying the "company
shutdown" this year is dwindling, so there goes a bucket of time I'd need
to fill.

...kl...
M400 #805 - wants to fill the bucket with something else
M400 #1037 - [can't be noodled right now]
EMI E4 #103S - [rollers and motor]
