Original flute sound

2004-08-29 by Philip

Hi there!

Does anyone know who played flute for the original
Mellotron 'Strawberry Fields Forever' flute sound?

I've read that it was ace jazz flautist/saxophonist Harold McNair,
can anyone confirm this?

Best wishes

Philip
