Mellotron Trumpet

2002-03-23 by Rick Blechta

A quick response to Andy's comment:

Why would anyone want the current solo trumpet? I have it Andy and it is

absolutely putrid--doesn't even sound like a trumpet and the poor sod
playing it cacked the last note and it was left in!

If there's enough interest out there, I will try to talk a couple of
local "screamers" here in Tronto to record a new trumpet voice. This is
going to be a tough sell since it involves holding a G above high C
(speaking in Bb trumpet terms) for 8 or 9 seconds. As it is currently
illegal in Canada to torture trumpet players into doing this sort of
thing, this will be a difficult sell. However, if there's the will, I'll

find a way.

...at which stage it becomes impossible to slide even a credit card
between the violet-faced player's buttocks.
