"advertising" on the list?

"advertising" on the list?

2004-10-22 by jonesalley

On a recent note,l I would hope and encourage that both/all groups of people involved in the creation, development, maintenance, archiving, use, and continued existence of all things Mellotronic (or of the extended family) will tell us EVERYTHING about the progress on new instrument development, live use, recordings, whatever is happening.
In other words, tell us what's going on in the now, not just in the past, because it isn't advertising when we're the people that want to hear it the most!

Hear, hear! After all, if you're not interested, ignore it. Colin may've been a tad over-enthusiastic about promoting his new album, but if you don't want to read it, that's what the 'delete' key's for.
And by the way, they're called Uriah Heep. :-)

Okay, but I'll always treasure the moment - "for once there was a spot that for one brief shining moment was known as Camelot!"

Hello all,

Delurking... and for a reason...

Our band, Lady Lake (Holland), are in the mixing stages of our new
album. Maybe some of you have heard about us: our 1997 reissue of No
Pictures (1977) on Musea got quite a lot of critical acclaim from prog
lovers all over the world (I feel this to be quite a bold thing to say,
but that's how it was....).
Anyway, our new album has real Mellotron as we are very lucky that my
brother has bought a new MK VI some time ago and he graciously let us
record lots of Tron, Mini-Moog, Fender-Rhodes in his Bauer-studio.

Please check out some nice Tron-footage and other niceties at
www.ladylake.nl

And while you're at it... visit www.bauer-plaza.com as well.....

Cheers,

Jan Dubbe

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
