Cubase

Has/does anyone have thoughts or comments on Cubase?
I recently gor a Presonus firepod and it came with a basic version of cubase. The mellotrons recordings I have done are quite nice, full, and warm. I am thinking of upgrading to Cubase 3.0 which just came out. I wanted to check with list members for experience/opinions befor I buy it.

Jimmy,

I use Cubase VST 5.1 and I like it a lot (even better than the newer
versions). I've tried demos of other software like SONOR and they
are nice, but Cubase does exactly what I need it to do; probably
even more, but definitely no less.

P.S. When did you change your last name?

Bernie

I still use v.2 for the Atari. What does that make me? Actually, don't
bother replying to that...
