Hi folks,
   I have gotten great response from that ad and it now is overseas, so maybe 
the Brits will hear it.  While I certainly didn't invent the use of tron 
flute, it seems that that spot has caught other composer's ears.  The use of 
tron in general has turned up in many American adverts and the Cingular 
Wireless ad does pay homage to the Nasdaq ad, albeit very small homage.  The 
culture of commercial composition and commercials in general is one built on 
imitation.  I have been using my genuine Streetly rebuilt tron for years in 
ads and now it seems to be finally catching on.  In fact, my Nasdaq clients 
were especially keen on the use of tron flutes in their ad.
