I've never heard of the guy, but one read of his notes convinces me that
he's the kind of mellotron obsessed fruitcake who belongs on this list. So
I sent him an email pointing him to the yahoo group.

I'm particularly offended by being called a "Mellotron obsessed
fruitcake". I hate fruitcake! :-)

I believe Klaus was around on this list for a short while, but he's one of
us time-challenged people and decided to unsub. Maybe he'll come back.

Klaus is one of the contributors to the Mellotron CD project. His song, The
Gate of Lahore (recorded at the E-LIVE Festival in Eindhoven, NL), can be
heard at:

He used to have a 1965 MKII, and has sampled it extensively. He has loaded
the samples into a Kurzweil 2500 Workstation, which he calls his "MEGATRON".

Bill

Just released last month. Sound were provided this time by a Klaus

Klaus was the main man of Mind Over Matter, who put out several 'Tron-heavy
electronic albums in the '80s. He's now operating under the nom-de-plume
'Cosmic Hoffman', doing similar stuff. I met him a couple of years ago in
Holland - lovely bloke, very knowledgable. He no longer owns a 'Tron, but
has at one time or another had *26* pass through his hands (all models)!
