well...i guess that would be me.

i'm Steve and i live in Nashua, NH. i've never owned nor am i ever
likely to own a Mellotron (however i did play an M400 once in the
early 70s in a music store) but i love the sound of them...probably my
favourite instrument. the intro to Watcher of the Skies (live
versions..i've never liked the studio recording...not majestic enough)
just takes my breath away.

anyway, i found my way here via Ken Leonard's site where i discovered
that the Pindertron had been found and restored. i'm SO pleased!!
that's one of THE classic Mellotrons.

i'm not much of a talker/poster but just wanted to introduce myself
and say what a pleasure it is to be among your ranks.

HELLO!! carry on...

Steve

Hi Steve...and welcome to the list! I'm a fairly new 'tron owner
myself...I can honestly say that this list is THE place to be for all
things related to the mellotron. There's only a couple thousand of
the machines around, and most of the owners are on this list.
Enjoy.

Best,
Brad

Welcome Steve, to the whacky worlds of mellotrons, and the even whackier
worlds of their owners.
Best wishes from the UK
