Just think of what it must be like to be Bob Moog. To know that because of
your work, some of the greatest music of the 20th and 21st centuries was
created. That because of your inventions, new musical vistas will continue to be
explored for decades to come. That because of you, millions of people have
been inspired. And that because of your creativity and obvious humility, you
will be remembered.

To know that what you have done has changed the world in some small way. To
be a pioneer. That is truly a great blessing. He is a most fortunate man.

I pray for his recovery, but should he not recover, he will be missed.

Bob Moog

Hi all. I would just like to pay tribute to this wonderful man who's instruments have inspired most of us over the years. He died yesterday 21st Aug. Read more here..
Though perhaps slightly off topic. The story of Moogs and Mellotrons have been closely linked over the years. How many of us have had a minimoog on top of our trons? A classic combination in my view.
A true genius who's contribution to music over the latter part of the 20th Century will undoubtedly go underrated as far as the general public is concerned. But not so here I think.
God bless him.
