Are we done pissin and moaning now?
King Crimson ran their Mellotron right into a Marshall stack on stage That  
is what Ian Mcdonald had said -- nothing fancy they used to run the  TRON into

For all you poster(s) who want to waste mine and I am sure other  
mellotronists time with such inane posts go start another page and bitch  and moan all 
you want. Me, I work two jobs and have 2 kids in college. These  recent 
character assassination should nave been handled privately.  It  is a waste of all of 
our time especially those of us  who use this list as  a resource to keep our 
noble beasts alive and in good operational order.
      And now to Bring Jerry Korb into it is a  complete sham! You will not 
find a nicer more peaceful gentleman in the USA. It  is obvious you have no 
idea who you are speaking of nor give a damn of the facts  that lead you to 
misspeak on that situation.
Martin and John's work is excellent as is their customer support. 
Marcus's machine is nice as well. it's that plain and simple.

True.. except that there is a big sonic difference between 
the sound of the Live KC (listen to the live Epitaph CD9 
and the studio albums. Plus Ian used a Reverb tank that 
sat on top of his Mark II...

PS... It was a HIWATT, not a Marshall..
