Mellotronists

Greetings All;

I'm having a little trouble with a couple of sounds from the M-Tron plugin
and was wondering if anyone had seen this issue and/or could offer some
assistance.  Everything seems to be running/sounding good with the exception
of the violins 1 and violins 2 sounds from the original M-Tron installation
CD (I have also installed the Tape Banks Vol. 1 set).

While I can access the violins 1 sound (which sounds great, such as it is),
I'm  only getting a very limited range of notes; i.e. 12 notes (G-3 to F#4).
All of the other sounds on both the original CD and the Tape Banks Vol. 1
have the "normal" range of about 35 notes.

When I select violins 2, I get no sound whatsoever, although I noticed that
if I set the attack to its fastest setting, I can hear a brief fraction of a
note that truncates very
quickly on the low G only; nothing else.

I've contacted Gmedia for tech support (I'm a registered user), but can't
seem to get a response from them (what's up with that?).  Can anybody offer
any guideance?  Of course the violins 1 and violins 2 sounds are THE sounds
that I bought M-Tron for; ironic.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Mine works fine; sort of. I get full range on Violins 1, but the low 
D and D# are both D. I believe Violins 2 is the same as Violins 1, 
based on the flawed low G, but D# is D#. You could try deleting 
the .CPT files from the MTron folder and reinstalling them.

Also, are you running MTron4.6?

Sounds like you might need to replace the pinch rollers.
