We have a several hundred year-old parliamentary system involving the 'House of Commons' and 'House of Lords'. Positively medieval, but there you go. Although we don't have a president, our prime minister (whoever they are) might as well be one, so we're spared two lots of elections every four years. Andy T. M400 #1145: neither republican nor royalist. Ever seen a Mellotron try to sit on a fence?
