Any MKVI owners in the Detroit area?
PM me if so. For the rest of you, any complaints with the new 'trons?
May be buying one.
Thanks,
Erik

FYI.. I played a Mark VI at NAMM and it was fantastic! Loved the keyboard feel and the speed switch.... Many improvements over the original... You will not be sorry...

Couldn't help noticing the phrase....
" any complaints with the new 'trons? "
Isn't this list from the start a result from the problems/complaints concerning the old ones...?
But, believe me I understand the question completely...

The Mark VIs are great...Great sound, wonderful keyboardaction and the speed switch is truly amazing...I have two old machines and the thought to sell the old ones to get a new one that works perfectly has crossed my mind on more than one occasion but I can't really sell the memories can I ?....Änglagård brought #1517 to Mexico and back...#563 was originally purchased to record tuned bees and bumblebees...But on the other hand...#1517 is a bit buzzy and #563 sounds a bit weird when using the standard frame...
So...now the plan is that #563 and #1517 get used so much so that they can pay for a new great sounding, non buzzy, non warped keyboard instrument so that they can retire quietly...
