HELP!

HELP!

2006-03-28 by jonesalley

Anybody know what the AC is like in Australia? Are Australian spec electronics plug-and-play in the USA or would modifications or adaptors be needed?

Well.............Their standard is 240v 50 Hz, and the plug configuration obviously is different than our 110-volt plugs.....

just try putting your tongue on the plug to see if there is juice.

if that doesn't help, then an xformer of some sort might be useful.
they are NOT compatible with US 110/60Hz.

ebay would probably be a cheap source of what you need.

You have to put the plugs in upside down.

Yeah, I just don't want to have to go to the extra work! Thanks, though!
