Hi all:
What grade oil does one suggest for the lubricating of the pinch rollers?

I would ask Martin or John. I think they were using light machine
oil at TrontoII. I would guess that if it gets on the rubber, you
are fucked.

Something *very* light, like gun oil. And use it sparingly. It gets
*everywhere*.

I've got a light oil in an aerosol with a spoot; it's great for those tight
spots in two senses. I've lent it to trumpeters aswell. the spraying bit is
only occasionally useful, but a gentler push can make the oil dribble slowly
down the spoot so it can be applied by remote control sort of thing. needles
to sew, I'm not going near it or the 'tron in this state.

duncan disorderly/400nr1098 and th'old herbal trumpet, aye.
