Hi to all,

Thanks to Pete for the link to "Radio4," and the Mellotron documentery.
I enjoyed it,and learned some new things as well.
Nice to know that the "'Tron" is still in demand, and is selling so well.
You folks that have real Mellotrons certainly have a unique treasure.

Great program. Interesting hearing Paul McCartney screwing up the beginning
of Strawberry Fields Forever. Also wondered why they were not playing
"Legend of a Mind" while Justin was explaining how important the pitch wheel
effect was to the early Moody Blues songs.

 

The program also mentions that the Streetly's cannot build enough M4000's to
keep up with demand. How about some details. Gentlemen?

it was a radio broadcast.
not a video/tv programme.

some of us have recorded it.
